The office of Administrative Assistant was established in the year 2000.
During an annual council session hosted by Greater Bethel Temple, Louisville, KY, Bishop Boyd announced the appointment of Pastor L. McNeese to the position.
Initially, McNeese's task was to simply serve as adjutant to the bishop, addressing protocols and assisting in various security and hospitality details.
In the year 2007, the new diocesan, the Honorable Bishop Sherman L. Merritt confirmed that McNeese would continue serving as administrative assistant and additionally requested the development of a team of armor bearers to serve the F.A.C.
Today, the administrative assistant handles a multiplicity of vital tasks, which include carrying out mandates for the diocesan, keeping things running smoothly and ensuring that your council experience is safe and memorable.
